TWENTY people attended the latest in a series of workshops for businesses organised by the Henley Partnership under the banner “the town that communicates”.
Chris Wellings, managing director of Henley firm CTC-Aspire, gave the 90-minute session called “Maximising benefit from your website” at Leander Club.
Julie Perigo, who chairs the partnership’s business and retail group, said: “Our participants included local retailers, property management professionals, charities, councillors, a gallery owner and a bed and breakfast owner.
“The response was fantastic and everyone went away with tips about their own websites and about how they can gain value, as members, through the partnership’s own site.”
The next free workshop is “Tips on working with the media: local, national and TV” with Simon Bradshaw, editor of the Henley Standard, on Thursday, November 22 from 6pm to 7.30pm at Leander Club.
