THE Royal Sun Alliance Insurance office in Henley will close in July.
Twenty staff at the Friday Street office were told last week that they were facing redundancy.
They are being encouraged to apply for jobs at the company’s Peterborough office, which will take on pet insurance. A Royal Sun Alliance Insurance spokesman said: “Following a comprehensive review, we have taken the decision to close our office in Henley so we can consolidate the work carried out there into one office in Peterborough.
“We are making every effort to support our staff affected by this, including, where possible, redeployment to other offices.”
