A cottage is for life, not just for Christmas time

WITH memories of the festive season fading fast, January can seem a little flat and dull — but a house is coming on to the market this month which will help prolong the feeling of Christmas all year long.

Skirmett has a village pub, the Frog, which has been family-run for more than 15 years and is renowned for its cuisine. The village hall runs local events and exercise classes throughout the year.

Hambleden village, just two miles away, has a village shop and post office together with a village hall, church and the Stag and Huntsman public house and restaurant. It has been used as the film location for well known films such as Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and, more recently, Nanny McPhee. More extensive shopping and recreation facilities are available in nearby Henley.
