‘Bumps and baby’ cafe launched


The Henley branch of the National Childbirth Trust (NCT) and the Brown Sugar café in Twyford have combined to launch a new ‘bump and baby café’, for expectant mothers, parents and their babies.

Post-natal leader for the NCT, Catherine Neil, said: “This joint project represents a really positive opportunity to support new parents and give them a comfortable environment to swap stories and forge new friendships during the challenging early days of parenthood.”

The Brown Sugar café will be open to all expectant and new parents, not just members of the NCT.
