Gym cafe celebrates birthday


THE Bom Dia café at LA Fitness in Newtown Road, Henley, is celebrating its first anniversary.

Sandra and Steve Cunningham serve teas, coffee, cakes, snacks, sandwiches and meals to members of the gym and non-members.

They also cater for children’s parties and other events with a fully licenced bar and special buffets using a conservatory attached to the café.

Last month’s celebrations included a 40th birthday party and 20th anniversary celebration for 100 people for Laila and Alistair Meachin.

Mrs Meachin said: “I have been extremely impressed with Sandra and Steve. They have been really helpful and worked very hard with the organisation of our party.”

The café was opened last year by then Henley mayor Gill Dodds.
