A HENLEY dentist has picked up an industry award for excellence.

Sameer Patel, who is a partner at the Blandy House practice in Hart Street, has been recognised as an industry leader.

His London practice, Elleven, was named best practice in the UK at the Dentistry Awards.

Dr Patel, 36, said: “We were shocked to win but we all worked really hard to create a customer journey.

“Most of our patients come from referrals and recommendations so that is the most gratifying thing.”


Dr Patel, who was born in Sonning and lives in Beaconsfield, is married to Shivani, an orthodontic specialist at Elleven, and they have a daughter, Sarovi, three.

His clients include Harry Potter star Emma Watson, businessman James Caan and England bowler Steven Finn.

Dr Patel qualified from Birmingham University and continued his postgraduate education at Oxford University while working in practice before moving to Guy’s Hospital, London. After his training, he was awarded, by examination, membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons in London.

Following a stint working in Sydney, he returned to the UK and became a partner at Blandy House, where he works four days a week.
