THERE is still time to book tickets for Dick Whittington, which opens at the Kenton Theatre on Monday, December 30.
The panto is produced by the Henley Children’s Theatre Group, which has been working with children in the area since 1969.
This year’s show features a cast of Little Rats, including Seren Chopra (pictured right), who follows in the footsteps of her mother, Zoe, who also played a Little Rat in another production of Dick Whittington when she was a small girl.
Director Muffin Hurst said: “As the Henley Children’s Theatre Group has been going for so long I am flattered to have at least three families who are second generationers.”
Darcy Dryden, who won the Mayor’s Christmas card competition this year and switched on the Christmas tree lights, also follows in the footsteps of her mother, graphic designer Charlotte Ball, and Amalia Williamson, who will sing a solo in this year’s show, is the daughter of Adam who was a member of the group many years ago.
