A Harry Potter tea party will be held at the Old Post Office café in High Street from 3pm to 5pm where guests are invited to come dressed as their favourite character from J K Rowling’s books.

On Sunday, June 29, an open day will be held at Wargrave allotments in Recreation Road from 11am to 1pm featuring readings from The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett and gardening tips from allotment holders.

From Monday, June 23, the library will be decorated with embroidery and “cut books” which have been carved into different shapes and patterns.
