ARTS and crafts made by some of the best British craftspeople will be on show at this year’s Chilterns Craft and Design Show.
It is only fitting an array of beautiful items should be shown in a setting equal to them, so once more the show will be set against the picturesque background of Stonor Park.
More than 200 craftspeople will be showcasing their work over the three-day event, making it a fantastic opportunity to buy handmade wares including gifts, ornaments, jewellery, glass, ceramics and accessories for the home and garden.
The event will also feature live music, workshops and activities and delicious food and drink making it a wonderful occasion for all the family to enjoy.
This year, the Café Eaton Bar will be on hand to offer foodie treats. If the delicious eats inspire turning a hand to culinary delights, celebrated professional chef Paul Da Costa Greaves will be sharing his mouth-watering recipes in the live cookery demonstrations.
To complement the demonstrations, the show will also feature Good Food Live with specialist food and drink marquees. Packed with plenty of tempting edible goods to try and buy, the marquees will offer a wide selection of farmhouse cheeses, handmade chutneys and curry sauces as well as fine wines, chocolates, fudge, nuts and seeds and much more.
Visitors can walk off an afternoon tea with a stroll through the show garden. Plant and gardening pros will be on hand and more than happy to share their expertise, and with a large selection of seasonal plants for sale, visitors will be able to recreate or design their very own show garden.
The show runs from August 22 to 25. Entry is free for under 16s accompanied by an adult. To buy tickets go to www.ichevents.co.uk or call 01425 277988.
