DREAMBOATS and Miniskirts, the sequel to the phenomenom Dreamboats and Petticoats, arrives at the New Theatre, Oxford, next week.
The show continues the story of Bobby and Laura and Norman and Sue showcasing the greatest hit songs of the Sixties along the way.
Its predecessor, Dreamboats and Petticoats has played to more than two million people since its debut in 2009.
Producers are hoping to emulate that runaway success with this collection of sparking hits from the decade which saw the arrival of the Beatles and the Merseyside sound.
The sequel is set in 1963 and finds Bobby and Laura’s single only halfway to being a hit, while Norman and Sue appear to have settled down to non-marital bliss.
Top tunes such as Twist and Shout, Handy Man, Pretty Woman, One Fine Day and many more will have audiences walking down memory lane in no time.
The show runs from September 1 to 6, 7.30pm, with an 2.30pm matinée on Wednesday and Saturday.
Tickets available on 0844 871 3020 or at www.atg tickets.com/oxford
