FESTIVALS, REGATTAS AND EVENTS IN HENLEY

Henley on Thames is possibly most famous for the annual Royal Regatta which attracts thousands of people all wanting to watch the world's finest rowers in action but the town hosts many annual events which all attract huge numbers of visitors and have helped Henley to build a reputation for hosting some of the best festivals in the country:

		Henley Swim Events This year we're holding four very different and exciting events, making sure we cater for both experienced open water swimmers who are looking for their next challenge, and swimming enthusiasts who are looking to take their first plunge into open water swimming.

		World Village Market This colourful festival-style street market will be held in the Market Square, Henley-on-Thames throughout the year - check here for dates.

		Henley Royal Regatta The Henley Rowing Regatta was first held in 1839 and has been held annually ever since, except during the two World Wars. Today, it is probably Henley's most famous, and possibly most prestigious, annual event attracting visitors from all over the world.

		Henley Youth Festival A unique event celebrating the achievements and talents of young people in the Henley on Thames area. The festival supports and promotes music, drama, dance and visual arts as well as team and individual sports.
