Win dinner for two and a night in hotel

THE classical Georgian façade of the old Brakspears Brewery on New Street, only 50 yards from the riverside moorings and in the heart of the town centre, has been the home of Hotel du Vin & Bistro for nearly five years now.

Every inch of the superb brewery architecture has been converted into a unique luxury boutique hotel, while the nature of the original building has been sympathetically preserved with one of three private dining rooms being carved out of the fermentation room and old malt house.

A stylish boutique hotel in the classic Hotel du Vin style, the collection of buildings encircling the old brewery yard, houses 43 exquisite bedrooms and magnificent suites featuring pristine beds of luxurious Egyptian linen unique décor and stylish furnishings.

Guests and visitors can enjoy alfresco and private dining in the trademark bistro restaurant, serving stunning culinary classics. Or, enjoy a relaxing glass of fine wine, an exotic cocktail or a cup of fresh coffee in the hotel bar which also boasts an extensive and eclectic choice of other beverages or tasty light snacks.

We have a very special prize to give away. One lucky winner will receive a night in a superior double room, a full English breakfast for two and three-course dinner for two in the bistro with wine chosen by our sommelier. The prize is worth around £400 — the experience priceless! The prize would be available any night of the week apart from those between June 30 and July 12. Prize is valid until December 30 2010. Booking is subject to availability and should be made direct with the general manager.

To win, answer the question below and send, together with your name, address and contact number to Hotel du Vin competition, Henley Standard, 1 Station Road, Henley, RG9 1AD by the closing date of February 12th.

Question: How long has Hotel du Vin been in Henley?
