THINGS are happening at St Joseph’s.
Following the college’s change to fully co-educational status in 2010 and investment in an extensive development programme, St Joseph’s is fast becoming Reading’s independent day school of choice for boys and girls aged three to 18.
In September the college was pleased to welcome its first headmaster, Andrew Colpus, who is keen to develop the community feel of the college and build on the school’s excellent academic reputation.
For St Joseph’s youngest children, a new Early Years Centre has opened, which provides a purpose-built facility for three- to five-year-olds and offers priority for entrance into the preparatory school’s reception class.
New for summer 2013 is St Joseph’s holiday club which runs from 8am to 6pm and is available for children aged three to 14.
A new school bus service now runs from Reading station, enabling pupils to travel from a wider area, and existing bus routes have expanded to Henley, Nettlebed, Maidenhead, Thatcham, Crowthorne, Finchampstead and Wokingham.
The next open day is Thursday, May 2 for the college and preparatory school from 9.15am to 12.15pm. To book a place and hear about what’s happening, call 0118 966 1000 or email email@example.com
