BRACKENHILL Stud ‘the home of champions past present and future’ has had a fantastic year.
Homebred colt Valletta Hunters Song was invited to the International Crabbet Convention of pure bred English Arabs.
He has very rare sought-after bloodlines which meant visitors from as far away as Australia came to view the horse.
If everything goes according to plan Hunters Song could have offspring throughout the world as there are less than 30 stallions of his calibre in existence. He is part of a diminishing gene pool which is in great demand.
Brackenhill Stud, based in Dobsons Lane, Fawley love rare breeds. There are less than two per cent of Arabs that are Spanish, but Brackenhill are very lucky to have one, the beautiful SA Carmen.
She has qualified for the third year running for the Horse of the Year Show and having always been placed Brackenhill are hopeful of more success.
Horse of the Year is the biggest horse show in the world and is held at the NEC Birmingham.
