Edwards in fine form

GEOFF EDWARDS continued his domination of the Remenham summer series with victory in the eighth leg at Wood Lane Fishery near Iver on Sunday.

Edwards opted to fish the slow sinking feeder casting out towards the middle of the lake and catching mainly small carp right from the start until the final whistle to weigh in an impressive winning total of 221lb, the largest weight recorded from this venue in a Remenham match and the largest in any Remenham match for several seasons.

In second place was Simon Bererens with Mark Bowerman third.

Edwards retains his lead in the series with 137 points from Pete Bowles with 132, Ian Chaplin 122, Trevor Pearce 118 and Dick Shillitto 110.
