Despite most of the anglers having to clear ice from their swims before the start of the match most had plenty of bites throughout the day and weights were reasonable considering the conditions.
Dick Shilitto fished the pole at 14 metres with pellet and caught mainly carp along with skimmers and roach to weigh in a winning total of 46lb 11oz.
This was well clear of second placed Pete Bowles with an all roach net of 15lb 4oz caught on the pole with maggot.
In third place was Ian Chaplin with 14lb 15oz consisting of carp skimmers and roach caught on the pole with maggot and corn.
On Sunday Cheriton Farm near Farley Hill was the venue for the ninth leg of the series.
Winner on the day was Chaplin who found the small carp feeding from the off and caught steadily through the match on the pole at 14.5 metres with maggot to weigh in 65lb 8oz.
In second place was Steve Johnson with 50lb 10oz of carp all caught on the pole at 14 metres with pellet. In third place was Bowles with 45lb of carp also on the pole with maggot and corn.
