The year 13 Reading Blue Coat student also put in four personal best performances as she represented Great Britain against athletes from France and Spain.
The 17-year-old competed as an U20 in the U20/U23 two-day event. In addition to winning the bronze medal, another highlight for Westwood was meeting Olympic gold heptathlon medallist Jessica Ennis-Hill who attended Sunday’s events.
