LAWRENCE CLARKE has been named in a 47-strong Great Britain and Northern Ireland team to compete at the European Team Championships in Cheboksary, Russia, on June 20 and 21.

Clarke, a 100m hurdler from Christmas Common, narrowly missed out on a medal at the London 2012 Olympic Games where he finished in fourth place.

Last year the 25-year-old made it to the finals of the Commonwealth Games but missed on the European Championships in Zurich due to injury.
