Trinity Hall crowned champions

TRINITY HALL were crowned Henley and District League champions despite being held to a 5-5 draw

TRINITY HALL were crowned Henley and District League champions despite being held to a 5-5 draw against local rivals Harpsden in their final match of the season.

With Park Institute A drawing 5-5 with Ivy Leaf A, Harpsden’s draw ensured they finished as runners-up.

Elsewhere Park Institute B drew 5-5 with Earley HG, Twyford A beat Ivy Leaf B 6-4 and Berks CS defeated Twyford B 6-4.

The final league table after all teams had played 18 matches each is as follows: 1 Trinity Hall, 102 points; 2 Harpsden, 99; 3 Ivy Leaf A, 98; 4 Earley HG, 96; 5 Park Inst B, 93; 6 Park Inst A, 92; 7 Berks CS, 87; 8 Twyford A, 84; 9 Twyford B, 77; 10 Ivy Leaf B, 76.
