Trinity and Harpsden find form

TRINITY HALL and Harpsden both recorded wins in the Henley and District Billiards League last week.

TRINITY HALL and Harpsden both recorded wins in the Henley and District Billiards League last week.

But it appears Earley Home Guard now have an insurmountable lead at the top of the table, having picked up another nine points following their 9-9 draw with second-placed Ivy Leaf B.

Trinity move up to third after their 10-9 away victory at Ivy Leaf A and have 137 points after 15 games. They are five points behind Ivy leaf B, who have 142 points.

Harpsden bounced back from defeat in their last match to win 10-5 away at Berks CS and are now in joint fifth with three other teams.

Next week sees the semifinals of the Cowan Cup being staged at Trinity Hall.
