EVER wished you didn’t have to spend a fortune on children’s clothes or wondered what to do with your children’s old clothes? The Clothes Shed is an established local business, selling quality second-hand children’s wear from babies up to 16 years old. It’s run by two local mums, Lucy Jacobs and Kate Robinson. They accept good-quality high street and designer brands, with 50 per cent of the proceeds going back to the seller. Growth in the amount of clothes donated for sale prompted a recent move to Henley Self Storage where they hold monthly sales.
“Since our move we have been inundated with quality clothes. However, we have run out of hanging space so have decided to hold a massive three-day sale at LA Fitness,” says Lucy. At least 1,000 items haven’t been displayed yet, including 100 pairs of designer shoes. Brands include Mini Boden, Ralph Lauren, Monsoon, Gap, Abercrombie, Jack Wills and more. Ski wear and coats are also available. The sale takes place at LA Fitness on Thursday, February 7 from 4pm to 6pm, on Friday, February 8 from 9am to 11.30am and 4pm to 6pm and Saturday, February 9 from 9am to 11.30am. Children are welcome to go along and try things on. Visit http://clothes-shed.co.uk
