Learning and play haven

WHEN it comes to giving children the best start in life, instilling confidence and finding fun

WHEN it comes to giving children the best start in life, instilling confidence and finding fun are priorities at Cedar Park Day Nursery in Twyford, whether you are six weeks old or nearly five and getting ready for mainstream schooling.

Sarah Foster, deputy to the area manager based at Cedar Park in Bridge Farm Road, says each and every baby and child knows they are special and has a variety of opportunities to shine.

“Confident, secure and happy children make friends easily and are open to new experiences,” she said.

“When you get that right, it is just a case of introducing as many different opportunities as possible to capture their imagination and see where their learning journey takes us.

Her dedicated team sets the scene for fun in imaginative, age-appropriate playrooms, with state of the art toys and learning equipment. Outside every available space in the  garden is fully utilised with even babies being encouraged into the fresh  air where a separate, decked area provides safe, clean  play and crawling all year round.

Older children, who tend a wormery in their room, also plant seeds and grasses in raised garden growing beds, learning maths, science and healthy lifestyle messages as they go.
