New forest school in Turville

MULTI award-winning nursery group, Evolution Childcare, has come to Turville, a picturesque village just five miles north of Henley.

It is located in and around the large grounds of the original Victorian school, which has been fully refurbished and transformed into a cosy and homely heaven for nought to five-year-olds under the new management. Evolution Childcare at Turville School is adopting the forest school approach to support outdoor learning.

We offer our children opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning experiences in our onsite woodland.

Children use natural materials found in the woodland and enjoy activities such as collecting sticks and leaves, using twigs to write in the mud, making dens and using the outdoors in everyday learning.

We run regular free sessions for mums and babies and toddlers every Thursday and Friday from 10am to 11am. For more information, call Kate on (01491) 638071.
