Vintage shop saved

AN antiques and homeware store has been saved after finding a new home in Henley town centre.

The Vintage Look moved from Market Place Mews to the former Spirited Wines shop in Market Place earlier this year as the mews is due to redeveloped.

But it was then given notice by the developer because the shop space is needed for access and storage.

Now it has found a new base at the former Rules of Beauty premises in Hart Street, where it will re-open on October 1.

Asset managers Catalyst Capital, who own the mews, are to redevelop the area into 14 flats and 16,000 sq ft of retail space.

Planning permission was granted in 2007, when the mews was owned by the DeStefano Property Group, which later went into administration.
