A DRINKS reception was held to mark a law firm’s expansion into Henley
A DRINKS reception was held to mark a law firm’s expansion into Henley.
Blandy & Blandy hosted the event at the Red Lion Hotel on Thursday last week.
Guests included the Mayor and Mayoress Julian and Gabriele Brookes, representatives from the business community and the firm’s clients.
Company chairman Brenda Long said: “I am delighted that so many guests were able to join us to mark our new presence in Henley.
“We already advise many private and commercial clients based in the town and across South Oxfordshire and look forward to welcoming new clients in the future.
“Henley is also home to many leading professional firms, including accountants, banks, property agents, surveyors and financial advisers, whom we look forward to working more closely alongside.”
The event followed the acquisition of law firm Collins Dryland & Thorowgood in Hart Street in June. The staff have all been kept on with William Fursman joining as a consultant and Luke McMath as a partner.
Blandy & Blandy already has two offices in Reading and one in London and the number of partners has risen by more than a third since 2014.
Ranked as a top tier firm by the UK’s two leading legal directors, Chambers UK Guide and The Legal 500, Blandy & Blandy is home to 20 partners and more than 100 staff.
