DOZENS of people attended the re-opening of an antiques and homeware store in Henley.
The Vintage Look has moved to the former Rules of Beauty premises in Hart Street after being given notice on its old premises in Market Place.
Owners Anthony Galloway and Rupal Patel-Galloway held a party on Friday where the guests included Mayor Julian Brookes and town manager Helen Barnett.
Mr Galloway said: “It was a really good evening with lots of positive feedback and we had a busy weekend in the shop.
“Things are going well with the new location. It’s busier than I thought it would be. It’s nice to get it going again after all our work — this is a popular shop which has been in Henley for eight or nine years.
“The shop feels like a hub for local people to come in and meet.”
The shop was previously located in Market Place Mews before moving to the former Spirited Wines shop earlier this year as the mews is due to be redeveloped.
It was then given notice as that shop is needed for storage and access during the work.
Asset managers Catalyst Capital, who own the mews, are to redevelop the area into 14 flats and 16,000 sq ft of retail space.
