Chairman focused on helping business

THE Henley Partnership has been re-launched under a new name and chairman.

Keith Douglas has taken over from Julie Perigo, who resigned because she has taken a job abroad.

He has renamed the group the Henley Business Partnership to keep a focus on the town’s business community. New directors have also been appointed.

Mr Douglas, 57, who lives in Station Road, Henley, said: “I am delighted to have taken over as chairman and we have some new directors but we are not going to do anything radically different.

“We are changing the name to the Henley Business Partnership to emphasise that we are here for local business people. I think the partnership needs to be more business-orientated because we are a self-help group for businesses.
