Heritage watches

AEROPLANE parts will be used to create the latest range of luxury watches in Henley.

Bremont, which is based in Marlow Road, will manufacture the mechanical watches as part of a partnership with aerospace giant Boeing.

The company, which was launched by brothers Nick and Giles English in 2002, already produces watches inspired by Boeing military aircraft, including the B-52 Stratofortress and CH-47 Chinook.

Nick English said: “We have had a relationship with Boeing for a number of years through our military projects but this partnership gives us further access to material and testing facilities that cannot be matched.

“No other aviation company has such an extensive and prestigious heritage.”
