Craft festival designed to attract off-season visitors

A CRAFT festival will be held in Henley next month.

Create Henley will take place at various venues around the town over the weekend of March 29 and 30 from 10am to 4pm each day.

There will be exhibitions, talks and demonstrations on crafts including quilting, knitting, weaving, spinning, tapestry and felt-making as well as willow and flower arranging.

Shoppers will be able to buy jewellery, ceramics, textiles, paintings, home furnishings, glass and candles directly from their makers as well as order custom-made designs.

Children’s workshops will be hosted by Lady Sew and Sew in Farm Road, which has the UK’s largest selection of patchwork and quilting fabrics.
