A REMENHAM company has celebrated its tenth birthday.
Practicus, a management recruitment consultancy, was founded in Henley by Paul Wandless, Jason Luckhurst and Boyd Kershaw in March 2004.
Now it has almost 500 employees and practitioners and turns over more than £50 million a year.
Last year, it won several awards, including the Thames Valley 250 International Business Award for innovation, and was named one of the Sunday Times’ top 100 companies to work for.
Staff marked the anniversary by visiting the Little Angel pub in Henley, which has become the company’s traditional venue for celebrations since the founders visited it on their first day of work in 2004. Practicus was based at the Smith Centre in Fair Mile, when it started to expand and set up its first regional office in Bristol followed by a London office.
