A FIFTIES-themed tea room has opened at the Chilterns End care home in Henley.
The former activity room has been redecorated with posters, clocks, radios and other memorabilia from the decade.
It is stocked with coffee, cakes and a range of teas and will be open to residents every day. Those who are able can come in when they like and make a drink for themselves, their friends or visitors.
People with disabilities can ask a member of staff to help them.
Staff came up with the idea last Christmas and asked residents for ideas on how it should look. They bought most of the decorations from charity shops.
