New barbers replaces tattoo parlour

A BARBER is opening a new business in Henley - just around the corner from his former employer.

Henley Barbers has taken over an empty shop in Station Road, which was formerly the No Limits tattoo parlour.

Owner Joe Fiumara says he will be open for business on Monday after refurbishing the premises.

Mr Fiumara, 45, from Crazies Hill, has spent the last years working at the Esquires barber shop in Reading Road, and has previously worked at salons in Maidenhead, Windsor and High Wycombe. He said: “I realised the premises were available in October when the tattoo parlour closed and I put in a proposal.

“I have a lot of clients that I have been building up over the years and I thought I would like to stay in Henley.

“I have been working in Henley for three years and I think I have blended in well and get on with people quite well.”

Mr Fiumara said the shop would be open in the evenings and on Sundays, adding: “I’m really looking forward to the opening.”

No Limits was in business for about 18 months and before that the premises was Henley Dry Cleaners.
