A POP-UP restaurant has been hailed a success on its second visit to Henley.
Chateau Marmot, organised by former Remenham resident Theo Cooper, catered for about 120 guests over two nights at the River and Rowing Museum.
The sold-out sittings included a six-course dinner prepared by chef Sam Hodges which was themed around woodlands. Mr Cooper’s mother Rosalind, who lives in Crays Pond, came up with a wine list to match.
Ingredients came from local suppliers including Bosley Patch at Swiss Farm, Henley, and the Chiltern Black Pig Company.
Mr Cooper, who set up the business with his wife Danielle, said he hoped to return in the spring with more than two sittings.
