New menswear shop opens after insolvency

THE owner of a Henley menswear store has launched a new business after his last venture was declared insolvent.

Tim O’Sullivan’s previous company Sullivans Henley Ltd was wound up in May with more than £170,000 of debt.

Now he has removed the signage from his shop in Duke Street, which traded as Sullivans, and is running it under a new limited company.

This company, called Henley-on-Thames Menswear Ltd, was registered just over a month before its predecessor ceased trading.

Mr O’Sullivan, 62, of High Street, Watlington, said: “I’m doing new signs because I felt the old ones were too small — that is all.
