BLOCKBUSTER in Henley is to shut and six members of staff will lose their jobs.

A sister store in Emmer Green, which had five members of staff, closed on Sunday.

The DVD rental firm has already closed 160 of its 528 stores after going into administration last month and last week announced that a further 164 would shut. Administrators Deloitte said it was still trying to find a buyer for the remainder of the business.

Lee Manning, joint administrator at Deloitte, said: ?We have continued to review the performance of individual stores since our appointment a month ago and have concluded that further closures are necessary in order to restructure the company for sale.

?We are in discussions with a number of parties interested in purchasing all or parts of the business and will update on progress in due course.?
