£10m hotel on market

A HOTEL in Hurley has gone on the market for £10million.

A HOTEL in Hurley has gone on the market for £10million.

The Olde Bell, parts of which are said to date back to 1135, was operated by the Dhillon Group until it went into administration in October.

The hotel has 48 bedrooms and suites and has been given a five-star rating the AA. The restaurant has been awarded two AA rosettes.

Dominic Mayes, of Knight Frank, which is selling the hotel, said there had been considerable interest in the hotel since it went on sale.

He added: “It’s a very significant property and it’s also a very successful business.”

Staff have been retained and the hotel will operate as normal during the sale process.

Anita Kaczoroska, chief leader of the reception team, said she was surprised by news of the sale, adding: “It’s different but these things happen.”
