A HAIR salon in Henley has been officially re-launched following a makeover.

The Strand, in Greys Road, has been completely re-decorated and a sun-bed has been installed. A champagne reception was held to celebrate the changes on Tuesday.

Mark Carlin, who owns the salon with his wife, Nadia, carried out most of the work as he has previously worked as a builder.

He said: “We have had the salon for 18 months or so and we just felt the upstairs seemed really tired.”

Mrs Carlin said: “The changes have been received very well, including the sun-bed. We have had one in our salon in Twyford for many years and it is very popular so we decided to bring one here too.”
