THE founder of an organic baby food firm is a finalist in the London and South-East Director of the Year

THE founder of an organic baby food firm is a finalist in the London and South-East Director of the Year Awards.

Paul Lindley, chief executive of Ella’s Kitchen in Rotherfield Greys, has been nominated in the small and medium company category.

Since he founded the business in 2006, revenues have doubled every year to £55 million today and the brand now controls 18 per cent of the UK baby food market.

Mr Lindley said: “I’m very proud and humbled to be nominated for director of the year.

“Proud because it recognises the contribution my team and I have made to entrepreneurialism in the UK, showing how a successful, sustainable business can be built on strong values.

“Humbled because I know that at just seven years old, Ella’s Kitchen is still a baby in the corporate world and the recognition comes surrounded by such excellence among my fellow directors and business builders.”

The awards, which are are run by the Institute of Directors and sponsored by Pricewaterhouse Coopers, will be presented at a gala dinner in London on April 19.
