A BUSINESSMAN from Wargrave has won an international award for his photography studio.

Marc Simmons, 37, owns and runs Venture Photography in Twyford with his father David, from Henley.

They beat competition from 40 other studios in the UK, Hong Kong and America to win the title of International Creative Studio of the Year.

The studio’s work was exhibited at the Heartbreak Gallery in Marylebone and judged by a panel of professional photographers.

Mr Simmons jnr said: “We are passionate about what we do and have photographed thousands of families from the region since launching 12 years ago. We aim to create something truly unique for our clients — an unforgettable experience here in the studio, resulting in stunning contemporary photographs that reflect their personalities.

“I’d like to thank our clients for their support over the years as this recognition wouldn’t be possible without them.”

Two of the studio’s photographers, Jake Hicks and David Lloyd, picked up three individual awards.
