A HENLEY gift shop has won an industry award for the third year running.

Temptation Gifts in Bell Street won the online gift retailer of the year at The Greats, organised by Progressive Gifts and Home magazine.

The winners were chosen by a panel of industry experts and suppliers and the awards were presented at the Savoy Hotel in London.

Joel Adams, the company’s head of e-commerce, said: “We’ve been able to take the commitment to great customer service that local shoppers will know and love and translate it into an online experience the whole world can enjoy.” The company, which has six other stores in the Home Counties, was set up in 1983 by managing director Mike Adams and his wife Sheena, from Buckinghamshire.

Mr Adams snr said: “This is our seventh national award in the five years so I want to pay tribute to our brilliant, hard-working staff but more than anything I want to thank our customers.

“We understand we’d be nothing without the support and loyalty of everyone in Henley and all our towns, and all our online shoppers too, and hopefully these awards show them their faith is well placed.”
