Brothers move into luxury bathrooms business

A LUXURY bathroom company has been launched in Dunsden.

A LUXURY bathroom company has been launched in Dunsden.

Outhouse Bathrooms sells design-led products aimed at interior designers, architects, high-end property developers and individuals.

It is the brainchild of brothers Ru Butler, 40, who runs Peppard Building Supplies, and Nic Butler, 43, who runs Peppard Concrete.

They have ploughed £250,000 into the business and feel confident they will be filling a gap in the market. Ru Butler said: “We will be providing a high-end, design-led service with top brand names and premium products from across Europe.

“We will be there every step of the way with the client, from the first brief to a site visit and planning the design.

“Peppard Building Supplies has sold middle-of-the range bathroom suites for a number of years and we saw the opportunity to create a brand new look so we took it.”

Stuart Darnell, who is client services director, said: “The vision for Outhouse is to create a destination bathroom studio, a place where people can call in and be inspired.

“We have scoured Europe to find stunning, standout products that truly have the ‘wow’ factor.”

The Butlers have worked together for 20 years after taking over the running of the building supplies business from their father John, who founded the company 40 years ago.

They set up Peppard Concrete, which offers ready-mixed concrete for delivery across the Henley and Reading areas, in 2010.

The Outhouse Bathrooms design studio is open to the public. For more information, visit www.outhousebathrooms.com
