A MANAGEMENT consultancy from Remenham has won an award for its innovation and international achievements.

Practicus, which is based at the riverside barns that used to accommodate the Barn Bar during Henley Royal Regatta, won the Thames Valley 250 International Business Award.

The company’s overseas sales reached £6.7million in 2012, which represented growth of 106.2 per cent. Its international clients include the ANZ Bank and Australian oil and gas exploration company Santos.

Practicus, which employs 104 permanent staff and practitioners, was founded in 2004 and was based at Newtown Road until it moved last summer.

Jason Luckhurst, chief executive and co-founder, said: “From the outset we wanted to take Practicus overseas. After laying firm foundations here in the UK with offices in Henley, London and Bristol the next step was Sydney, then Melbourne and this year we have opened offices in Hong Kong.

“There are exciting opportunities in the Asia-Pacific region and we relish the challenge that offers.”

The company was ranked 27th in the fourth annual Sunday Times/HSBC International Track 200.
