Excellent building

OFFICES in Henley occupied by a watch company have been singled out for design excellence.

OFFICES in Henley occupied by a watch company have been singled out for design excellence.

Bremont moved into the new offices at Sawmills, off Marlow Road, in March.

The oak-framed building was named the best small commercial development costing less than £1million in the LABC Central England Building Excellence Awards and was highly commended in the Chiltern Building Design Awards.

The building was commissioned by Swiss financier and hotelier Urs Schwarzenbach, who lives in Shiplake, designed by Spratley Studios, of Henley, and built by Wallingford master builders Boshers.

All Bremont’s 40 staff are based at the building, which comprises workshops, production, operations, administration and sales.
