THE landlords of the Flower Pot in Aston are used to serving their customers with a roast on Sundays.

But last weekend they welcomed 70 Harley Davidson enthusiasts, whose bikes filled the pub car park when they stopped off for a coffee and soft drinks.

The members of the Chelsea and Fulham chapter of the Harley Owners? Group arrived in a motorcade as customers took photographs of them.

Landlady Pat Thatcher said: ?Their entrance was magnificent ? I?ve never seen anything like it.?

Her partner Tony Read said: ?It was the largest number of people we?ve ever had at the pub in one go.?

The riders started in King?s Road, Chelsea, and travelled through the Chilterns, visiting Stonor, Christmas Common, Watlington and Henley before ending in Wargrave, where they had lunch at the St George and Dragon pub.

Mick Newstead, chairman of the chapter, was riding his CVO Harley-Davidson Glide 2013 model.

He said: ?It?s a nice road through the Chilterns with some lovely scenery. We had a lot of people watching us as we drove through the different places.?
