OLDER people in Oxfordshire are leading the way when it comes to being online.

OLDER people in Oxfordshire are leading the way when it comes to being online.

Research by Age UK shows that half of people aged 65 and over in the county use the internet compared with the average for England of 39 per cent.

It has also been found that older people who use the web are nearly three times less likely to report being lonely than people who are not online.
