Boat broker on the move

A HENLEY boat broker has taken up new premises.

A HENLEY boat broker has taken up new premises.

Henley Sales and Charter, which is owned by Gillian Nahum, has moved from Green Lane to Friday Street.

The move coincides with the business becoming the official Thames agent of boat builder English Harbour Yatchs, of Oundle, Northamptonshire

The broker has taken delivery of two electric boats which are powered by lithium batteries and have LED lights on the hull and take just three weeks to build.

Mrs Nahum, who also runs the Boatique clothing and furniture store in Hart Street, said: “I’ve had lots of interest in the boats. I took someone out on the 16ft one who loved it. It’s non-polluting, so it’s great for the river, and it’s silent, so it’s great for relaxing.”
