Help for hearing problems

A HEARING aid specialist has opened in Henley.

The Henley Hearing Centre has moved into the former Whittington Fine Art premises in Hart Street.

Its services include hearing health check-ups, consultations, aids and wax removal.

Among the equipment available to use is amplified telephones and a video otoscope that allows clients to see inside their ears via a colour monitor.

Tests and consultations are free and clients are offered free aftercare for life.

Bryan Venters, centre manager and audiologist, said, “We specialise in improving everyone’s hearing, whether they have had hearing aids before or not, in a welcoming, comfortable setting.

“We are completely independent, which means we are not tied to a particular company or manufacturer.

“Many of our patients have been hearing aid users over the years, whether NHS or private, and we always strive to improve on the hearing aid care they have already had.”
