Volunteers sought for summer in Stonor

VOLUNTEERS are needed to help run the Stonor Park estate during the coming visitor season

VOLUNTEERS are needed to help run the Stonor Park estate during the coming visitor season.

The estate is the home of Lord and Lady Camoys and has been in the family for more than 850 years.

Volunteers will welcome visitors and act as custodians of the fine art on view. They will also have the opportunity to become a guide, taking visitors on guided tours. Other opportunities exist to help in the gift shop and visitor reception.

Anyone interested in applying should attend an open day next Saturday (February 28) from 10am to noon.

Stonor Park will be open on Sunday sand bank holiday Monday afternoons from April 5 to September 27 and Wednesday and Thursday afternoons during June, July and August.

Volunteers may help as little of often as they like and travel expenses are paid.
