Davis Tate branches into Wallingford

ONE of Henley’s local agencies, Davis Tate, will open a branch in Wallingford later this month

ONE of Henley’s local agencies, Davis Tate, will open a branch in Wallingford later this month, smack bang in the town centre.

James Elliott, who has been running the Goring branch of Davis Tate, will be directing the new site and will offer local residents the opportunity to have their properties marketed or receive assistance in finding their new home by an experienced agent who has been covering the wider area for some time.

Davis Tate were established more than 24 years ago, and over the years have grown to have a network of offices throughout Berkshire and Oxfordshire. The Wallingford office will be the company’s 12th office, and will work closely within the Davis Tate network but specifically be able to offer clients the added exposure from not only the Wallingford office but also the neighbouring Goring and Henley offices, ensuring they are well and truly surrounded.

Mr Elliott said: ‘We are very excited to be opening in Wallingford. We have been selling properties in the town and surrounds for some time, but feel a town centre presence will help us to offer an elevated service to our clients. Our location is key, as we’re opposite Waitrose, so hope that we can allow people the opportunity to pop in as they come and go from their weekly shop.”

The office will be headed up by branch manager Daniel Ashton, who moves from managing the Twyford office for the past five years, having worked in numerous offices throughout the company since he joined in 2006.

He will be joined by assistant manager Melissa Wright, who has been specialising in the Wallingford area for several years, along with lettings manager Andy Sartain and administrator Sallie Scott.

David Tate himself said: “With the opening of this new office, the people of Wallingford will find themselves with a dynamic and energetic sales department, and we will be looking to grow lettings in the area too, as well as offer the full property spectrum in terms of sales, lettings, financial services, conveyancing and land and new homes. We have every confidence in James and his team, and look forward to seeing an increase in Davis Tate property boards starting to appear all over the neighbourhood.”
