THE Wee Waif in Charvil has re-opened after undergoing a makeover.

The pub in Old Bath Road was closed for three weeks while the bar was extended, booths with their own TVs were added and the toilets were refurbished. The gardens were also revamped and a children’s play area created.

Manager Glyn Carpenter said: “The pub was in need of a bit of a refresh and the makeover was just the job. The difference it has made is amazing.”

The pub is owned by the Hungry Horse group.
